Feedback from 2001 Subscriptions

When the 2001 subscription form was sent out I asked for feedback and was very pleased that a lot of subscribers took the time to make comments. They were mainly good comments, the only negative comment was about some of the artwork used in issue 3/2000.

The main items of feedback were :-

• The content and quality of the magazine is good. Several subscribers who were on the point of stopping the magazine were convince by the letter sent to them in mid 2000 to re-subscribe for 2000, many have said they were glad that they did re-subscribe.
  
• Many subscribers would like even more varied articles, if you have an article that you think is suitable, or know someone else who has an article, please contact me (andy@vhfcomm.co.uk). The main request were for Test Equipment, Transceivers and New Technologies. The content of the magazine is a translation of the German magazine UKW Berichte, but new authors and ideas would be good for both publications.
  
• Publishing the PCB layouts on this web site was requested. Whilst this would be very useful, I have to get the permission of the authors, this is not always possible.
  
• The FAQ section of this web was voted as a good idea, but to date there have not been many users. I will keep the FAQ section going for another 6 months, if it is still not used I will remove it.
