The May 2011 UHF/SHF contest

The weather was fantastic for our first UHF and up contest by the seaside.

We were at JO01RJ, Joss Bay in Kent, with the callsign G3SVJ/P and QRV on:

70cm, running 400W into 4 x 19 element Tonna antennas. We made 104 contacts with the best DX being DL5MAE - 820km

23cm, running 100W into 4 x 36 element Tonna antennas. We made 15 contacts with the best DX being DL0GTH - 658km

13cm, running 10W into a 63 element quad loop yagi. We made 6 contacts with the best DX being PA2M at - 222km

6cm, running 1W into a flat plane antenna. We made 3 contacts being PA6NL at JO02BI - 195km

3cm, running 10W into a 50cm dish. We made 7 contacts with the best DX being F6DWG/P - 227km
